    The head sticks out of the hole, maybe spotting something good? I used polka-dot fabric for the eyes. Shake the body, and it makes a sound.

    Each kirky product is handmade by Indian craftsmen. Some clothes can't be delivered due to minor stains or fabric defects.

    It feels wasteful not to use these items we've made. We wanted to showcase them to everyone, so we asked for clothes to transform into plush toys.

    They're delightful friends, seemingly ready to chat at any moment. Keep them close; they'll make you feel at home.

    From the artist: I've loved sewing since childhood, starting with dance costumes over 15 years ago. Now, I resize adult clothes to fit kids at a dressmaker's shop.

    Sewing for kids made me appreciate not discarding things no longer in use. I'm starting to ponder mottainai (what a waste).

    Each piece is meticulously crafted, so each has a unique touch.

    Jaipur, India, with its fantastic scenery of pink-colored buildings, serves as the main production center for the fabrics that embody Kilki's worldview. Each textile is handcrafted by skilled artisans in small factories, featuring distinctive blurs, blotches, and shades of color, exuding a human-like warmth and affection.

    Prints created using traditional Indian techniques resonate with the energy of nature. After washing, the cloth is sun-dried. Although this process takes more time than tumble-drying, the colors become more vibrant when exposed to sunlight. Wisdom passed down in Jaipur's desert region finds modern application in our manufacturing.

    The soft blending of color boundaries exudes a gentle charm, and the subtle deviations from uniformity offer a unique interest impossible to replicate by a machine. Cloth becomes a messenger, conveying the finely honed skills and thoughts of the craftsman.
