The fibers from the stems of the shell gingko are dried, split into thin strips, and crocheted one by one.
The earrings sway around your ears, accentuating your outfit.
The earrings are so light that you may forget you are wearing them, so they are recommended for those who don't like heavy pierced earrings.

All work is done by hand, from fiber making to production, using a plant called Gekko, which is native to Okinawa.

What is Gekko?
Gekko is a perennial herb in the ginger family, Alpinia. It is distributed in tropical and subtropical Asia, and in Japan from Okinawa Prefecture to southern Kyushu.
