    2021 Ichi-Oshi
Useful for design, fashion, interior design, illustration...and many other scenes! Long-awaited continuation of the collection of good old Japanese color schemes!
Color Scheme Encyclopedia: Colors of the Taisho and Showa Periods", a reprint of the first Japanese color scheme book by artist Sanzo Wada, has been highly acclaimed overseas as "a wonderful source of inspiration, fascinating with colors that I did not even know existed" (Die Ziet, Germany), and became a long seller.

This follow-up book reprints Sanzo Wada's "Color Scheme General Book B" (1934-10) and "Collection of 500 New Designs" (1938).
In addition to 72 color schemes of multicolored patterns inspired by Japanese seasons, the book presents 161 examples of color schemes from clothing, interior design, graphic design, and other fields from the early Showa period.

This book is useful for design, fashion, interior design, illustration, photography, writing...all creative work.

    Sanzo Wada

He left a significant mark on color research. He is also known as a Western-style painter and is active in multiple fields, including film, stage design, and fashion design, and won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design for "Jigokumon" (Hell's Gate) in 1954. He is a Person of Cultural Merit.
