Adan works are made with a lot of time and effort. First, the adang leaves are picked, the thorns are removed, boiled in shikwasa (citrus depressa), bleached, dried, and tanned without a day's rest to prevent the leaves from bending, and after about a month's time, they are finally ready to be woven.
