This Ryukyu indigo-dyed tote bag was created at the Hideaway Resort the rescape* on the east coast of Miyakojima Island.
The gradation of colors expresses the change of time from night to morning.
It was produced by Yoshinari Kakazu, the representative of LEQUIO, a fashion brand on the main island of Okinawa. Each piece of cloth is carefully dyed by hand using Ryukyu indigo, which Kakazu himself cultivated from seedlings in a wasteland he cleared and raised himself.
