Denizli is renowned for its cotton and towel production in Turkey, a country brimming with materials. Further into the country lies Buldan, known for crafting hand-woven hammam towels called Peshtemal, an integral part of traditional Turkish culture. We are delighted to present our maison masumi Peshtemal made entirely of 100% cotton.

In the town of Buldan, artisans craft these hand-woven 100% cotton peshtemal towels, an age-old tradition beloved in the traditional Turkish hammam and revered by the Ottoman Empire.

Breathable, absorbent, moisture-resistant, and crafted from 100% cotton, these peshtemals offer a comfortable feel. Lighter than bath towels, they fit easily into a beach bag, dry quickly, and have excellent absorbency. They serve as versatile items perfect for everyday use, beachwear, fashion stoles, home blankets, tablecloths, picnic blankets, baby swaddles, and more.

We are expanding our lineup to include tableware, interior accessories, and more, all made of natural materials.

What Maison Masumi proposes is a lifestyle without boundaries between the outside and inside of the house. From bright and comfortable pajamas to home and resort wear suitable for various settings, we offer a wide range of products made from 100% organic cotton, produced in the traditional Turkish hammam towel (peshtemal) production area.

Our lineup includes original pestemals (towels for versatile purposes) and bathrobes made of 100% organic cotton. In 2022, we will introduce a collaborative resort and home collection with a knitting company in Istanbul.

"Maison Masumi's brand story":
Established in 2014, the Maison Masumi brand is the creation of Masumi, a designer with experience in lingerie and ladies' wear. Drawing inspiration from years of travel, especially in Europe, Masumi founded Maison Masumi to propose a wonderful everyday life. In April 2017, an atelier was established in Istanbul, a city that serves as a melting pot of cultures and races.

In 2022, an additional atelier was established in Hamburg, Germany, marking our entry into the European market.

We aim to shift towards a richer, healthier, and sustainable lifestyle surrounded by natural materials at Maison Masumi, steering clear of easily discarded clothes, additives, and plastic.
