In Japan, the word "chai" conjures up images of milk tea with cinnamon, which is drunk in India. The meaning of "chai" simply means "tea." However, this product is named "Chai" to fit your image.
There are only two kinds of names for "tea" in the world: "cha" in Cantonese and "teh" in Fujian. In Japan, it is "cha." In English, it is "tea." It is pronounced "cha" mainly in Asia, and "tea" in India and Europe. It is said that when tea spread from China, it was introduced by land ("cha") and by sea ("tea").
So, this tea. I took elements of Indian spiced chai and combined them with hojicha and spices. The original idea came from a part-timer who used to work at our company, who participated in a chai workshop and experimented with various spice preparations to suit our tea, and the recipe was adopted.
No cinnamon. The spices we use are gentle in flavor, so it has a gentle, aromatic, and complex taste. It is supposed to be brewed thick and mixed with milk, but some people say it is also good to drink it as it is with hot water, just like herbal tea. Some people say it is good to drink it as it is with hot water.
Some people are addicted to our hojicha chai and say, "I want to buy it for professional use. Try it!"
