This is a calendar with a new sense of value, in which the calendar is turned halfway vertically, not on the first day of each month, but on the first day of each of the 24 seasonal divisions, such as Risshun, Rainy Season, and Keihinetsu (the beginning of the new year).
It proposes the richness of living by sensing the seasons with a high level of resolution, and by sensitively grasping the signs of new seasons to come.

Kugu's 24-Season Calendar is designed to be flipped in half according to the beginning of each of the 24 seasonal divisions, starting with "Risshun" on February 3, 2025, followed by "Amousui" on February 18 and "Keihinetsu" on March 5, and so on, every two weeks for a year until February 3, 2026. The next one is February 18 [Rainy Water], March 5 [Keihinetsu], and so on....

By detaching one half of the sheet each time you pass over one seasonal milestone, you can catch a glimpse of the next seasonal milestone. When the left half is detached, half of the next page appears, and you will notice that the flow of lines, figures, and colors are faintly connected. The illustrations and seasonal words change as if the seasons are changing, and the reader can visually grasp the connection between the seasons and enjoy the calendar by overlaying it with a sense of the season that he or she can feel on the skin.

There is a perforation in the center of the calendar to cut it out vertically. The perforations are fine enough to be inconspicuous when the calendar is on display, but not so fine as to cause mistakes when cutting.
Each of the 12 calendars is designed with an illustration inspired by the seasonal words of the season, along with a small seasonal word.
