The strength of the curling agent can be controlled according to the condition of the hair.
We only sell a simple and easy-to-handle application-adjustment type A agent with a 40% GMT concentration.
Please use your own diluent for B agent.
If you do not have a diluent, you can substitute a slightly viscous liquid.
It can also be diluted with water, but please shake it up when applying.
GMT (glyceryl thioglycolate) is known as a gentle curling agent for hair.
Below is an explanation of the proper usage for each condition.
Condition 1: Suitable concentration when curling light colored hair
Lightly colored (bleached or highlighted) hair is susceptible to damage.
For such hair, it is important to use a lower concentration of GMT.
Recommended concentration: 5-6% (diluted 7-8 times) (3-4% for bleached hair (diluted 10-12 times))
Usage: Considering hair damage, adjust GMT at a low concentration and use in combination with treatments and moisturizing ingredients as needed to protect hair while curling.
Leave-in time: Adjust according to the condition of the hair, but make sure it is shorter than usual (10 to 15 minutes).
Appropriate concentration for use in straightening agents
GMT can be used as a straightening agent, but the concentration should be adjusted according to the condition of the hair and the purpose.
Recommended concentration: 7-8% (diluted 5-6 times)
Usage: Adjust concentration according to hair condition and desired straightening strength. Unlike normal straightening perms, it is recommended to use a moisturizer and protectant as a post-treatment to reduce the stress on the hair when using GMT.
Leaving time: Adjust according to the condition of the hair and check after 20 to 30 minutes.
In both conditions, depending on the damage level and condition of the hair, a patch test should be performed prior to use and the concentration and time adjusted as necessary to ensure a more reliable and beautiful hair.
