    The green leaves of the plant, which remain unchanged throughout the year, and the red berries, which are also used for New Year's, were said to bring good luck, and it was customary to pray for the safety of the family by keeping them close to the house.
    This is the most famous Kutani copy of [Yoshidaya Te] by Yoshidaya Den'emon-ya, a Kaga artist of the Edo period. It is especially appreciated as a gift.
