Delivered in a bright blue box with an image of the sea of Okinoerabu Island.
The whale imprinted on the wrap is available in three colors: blue, brown, and dark brown.
*You cannot choose the fabric color: S size: green, M size: yellow, L size: beige.
◎Ingredients
Organic cotton*1, beeswax (from Okinoerabu), jojoba oil, pine resin
(*1 Cotton grown without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers for more than 2 to 3 years, which are commonly used in large quantities in cotton fields. Organic cotton is also produced in compliance with social norms such as the safety of the people who grow it and child labor.)
◎What is "Whale La Wrap"? ◎Whale La Wrap
Whale La Wrap is a food preservation wrap that can be washed and used repeatedly.
It is made by refining beeswax from Okinoerabu Island in the Amami Islands, soaking organic cotton fabric, and handmade one by one.
Because it is made from only naturally occurring materials, it can be returned to the soil after use, and there is no environmental impact.
Beeswax also has moisturizing and antibacterial effects that keep food fresh and tasty for a long time.
Every winter, humpback whales come to the waters of Okinoerabu Island to raise their young.
In spring and summer, sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs.
Whale La Lap" was born from such a wish to "protect this beautiful sea where creatures weave their lives together.
5% of the sales of this product is donated to the Okinoerabu Island Fisheries Cooperative Association to help preserve the marine environment.
What we can do to protect the beautiful sea
◎How to use
Place the wrap directly over cut vegetables, fruits, cheese, bread, or anything else you wish to wrap, and warm it at hand temperature to fit.
In addition, there are many other ways to use the wrap, such as to cover a bowl or container, to carry cutlery, or to use the wrap as a plate. Find your favorite way to use it.
After use, rinse it gently with water and let it dry naturally.
It can be used repeatedly for six months to a year, depending on how and how often it is used.
Precautions for use
Beeswax is sensitive to heat, so it cannot be used in microwave ovens, ovens, dishwashers, or dryers.
Beeswax cannot be sterilized with boiling water, so please avoid using it on oily food, raw meat, or raw fish.
Foods with strong acidity, such as citrus fruits, are not recommended as they will accelerate the deterioration of the wrap.
If you are concerned about stains, clean gently with diluted dishwashing detergent and a soft sponge.
Because beeswax is used, please do not use this product on items that children under 1 year of age or those allergic to honey may put into their mouths.
