The design of this letterhead looks as if it were made by drawing 3mm-wide fluorescent yellow and fluorescent green markers horizontally and vertically.
Despite the large ruled lines shaped like a jungle gym, the two-color borders that make up the vertical lines function as supplementary ruled lines, making it surprisingly easy to write on. Furthermore, when the letter is finished, the handwritten text appears to fit neatly into the hexagonal picture frame.
When light hits the ruled line, it glows terribly, just like a real fluorescent marker. The two-color ink is overprinted with different densities in different areas.
The paper is b7 natural. The best feature of this paper is that it has good color reproduction of writing ink, and there is no worry about blurring or back-stripping. However, depending on the ink used (mainly fountain pens, etc.), it may take some time for the ink to dry (*). Please keep this in mind.
The paper is tougher than ordinary letterheads, so even just one sheet has a firmness, and is recommended for those who have strong writing pressure.
The envelopes in the set are made of a special dark blue paper with a vague stripe pattern on the surface. Wrapping the letter paper gives it a crisp and tight impression.
*One of the things we tested here is that when writing with genuine black ink of LAMY safari fountain pen, we had to wait quite a while for the ink to dry.
