The rising sun with Mt. Fuji in the background is expressed in a small frame.
The inside color is blue, one of the traditional colors used in famous Japanese paintings.
In the upper right corner of the frame is the "sakura" flower, a symbol of Japan that blooms in spring all over the country.
The color is a gradation of light pink and white.
Each part is cut and assembled by hand, one by one, and colored one day at a time.
Fuji and the sunrise are left with the jagged edges of the saw-tooth marks.
