This is a rain or shine umbrella made of Koshu-ori, which is produced by making a textile printing pattern based on the actual dyed pattern design, printing on the warp threads that have been temporarily woven, and finally expressing them in a woven pattern using the "hogushi weaving" technique. By weaving the warp threads while removing them from the temporary weave, the border line fluctuates and the two colors seem to blend into each other, creating the umbrella fabric. The color variation incorporates the colors of nature, such as plants and fruits, so the umbrella is bright and colorful without being too assertive, making it easy to match with lifestyles and modern fashions.
The cute rounded silhouette of the 12 bones and the luxurious yet lightweight fabric make it the perfect umbrella for casual fashion. It is also a wonderful piece for going out with kimonos.
