    The arabesque pattern is an auspicious design with a meaning of [prosperity and longevity] because of its strong vitality and uninterrupted growth of tendrils. Taking a cue from the arabesque pattern made from Persian metal fittings, the traditional craft of Kutani ware has been given a modern pattern. This teacup has the natural flavor of hand-rooted teacups. Kutani Bitoen's hand-formed Kutaniyaki is a one-of-a-kind design that focuses not only on the painting but also on the shape.
