Fusion of English Harness Leather and Italian Leather

This business card case exudes a stately dignity, providing the bearer with a solid and sturdy impression while gaining trust at first sight. The body is crafted from traditional bridle leather, long used as harness leather in England, while the interior is composed of Italian vegetable-tanned oiled nubuck. The sleek appearance of the main compartment accommodates up to 40 business cards, complemented by two free pockets offering practical storage. Over time, the aging process of the two distinct leathers enhances their refinement.

[Main Body Leather]
The main body features "Bridle Leather" (color: Evergreen), crafted at the long-established tannery "Thomas Ware & Sons" in Bristol, England, with a history spanning over 170 years. This leather undergoes traditional pit-tank tanning, hand-soaked for over 10 weeks with beeswax and vegetable oil, resulting in robustness and water repellency. The "bloom," a white powder on the surface, signifies bridle leather and varies in intensity among products.

[Interior Leather]
The interior boasts oiled nubuck leather from "Texas" (color: Natural), produced using the bucketta method by the established company "Tempesti" in Italy's Santa Croce district, renowned for its vegetable tanneries. Unlike suede, nubuck's durable and smooth texture is achieved by processing the leather's front side. With its oil content, "Texas" develops increased luster and color depth over time with use.

[Reliable Storage Capacity]
Despite its refined design, the case can hold about 40 business cards. The gusset along the bottom creates a thin box shape ideal for organizing business cards.

[Front Pocket]
A free pocket is provided in front of the main compartment, ideal for holding others' business cards during exchanges.

[Pocket Behind the Flap]
Another free pocket is situated on the flap's back, allowing easy access to your own business cards during exchanges.

[Beautiful Kirime Honpaku Finish]
"Kirime Hon-igaki" represents the most traditional and valuable method of finishing leather. The surface is meticulously processed to give the appearance and tactile feel of a single piece, requiring skilled craftsmanship and extensive time due to repeated dye, glue, and wax applications.
