One-piece collar shirt using Kurume Kasuri, a traditional craft of Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

It is woven in a hybrid configuration using yarns dyed by fermented indigo (hand-dyed by craftsmen in indigo bottles) and indigo dye (dark blue), and features an expression with depth. (* Indigo dyed yarns are dyed in shades of dark and light blue as well as step-dyed yarns.)
The red and yellow kasuri yarn adds a splash of color and complements the indigo blue.
One-piece tailored collar with a pull-out collar.
Relaxed and loose silhouette.
Original ceramic buttons made at an Arita-yaki pottery workshop.
Specially washed at a dyeing studio in Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture, to create a moist texture.

Kurume Kasuri
Kurume Kasuri is a traditional yarn-dyed fabric representative of Japan.
Characterized by its soft texture similar to hand-woven fabrics, it is woven at Kurume Kasuri weaving factory established in 1948, where a belt-type power loom connected to a single motor is in operation.
Many processes are done by hand, and it takes two to four months to complete the weaving of more than 30 processes.
