The tatami surface used here is Sekisui Tatami MIGUSA Meshaku Black.
It has a modern impression with a fine grain and a glossy luster, creating a sense of luxury.
It is recommended for use in inns and restaurants.
The edge of the tatami is decorated with a diamond pattern.
The water chestnut pattern has a long history, as it was used on earthenware during the Jomon period. It is said that the name "hishi" comes from its resemblance to the shape of the water plant "hishi. Hishi is highly fertile and has the meaning of "prosperity of offspring" and "good health.

What is "Meshiki Table"?
