What is hanging jersey?
[It is a jersey material produced on an old-fashioned hang knitting machine that is only used in a limited number of factories. It is said that the machine came to Japan in the Taisho era (1912-1926). However, with the advent of innovative weaving machines, many factories have switched over, and some craftsmen continue to produce jersey with the gentle finish that can only be achieved with a hanged knitting machine.
