This bowl is made of Japanese zelkova wood, finished on the potter's wheel, with a Negoro-nuri design in wipe lacquer for a good mouth feel and easy holding.

The texture of the polished Negoro lacquer is beautifully glossed by applying a layer of lacquer on the top coat.

It is also useful for storage as it overlaps well. It can also be used as a rice bowl.

This is a sturdy product that is popular among professionals.
