The Japan Foundation, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, selected this product as one of the 100 best products of Japan. Japanese design newly created after 2000 (furniture, home appliances, tableware, toys, vehicles, systems, and services), the short wide umbrella was selected as one of the 100 products representing contemporary Japanese design. The exhibition will tour overseas for 5 to 10 years starting in 2023.
