    Pierced marquetry earrings.

    These accessories are made of 2700 year old Jindai Zelkova wood excavated from the Mototaka Yumino Ruins in Tottori City.
    In addition, the accessories are made from wood from demolished private homes and scraps from construction sites, in the hope of preserving the wood.

    The texture of the wood was used to create a straight line motif in the yosegi.
    It is finished with 100% natural wax, a blend of beeswax and plant-derived oil.

    About care
    When the luster is gone or scratches become noticeable, apply vegetable oil such as olive oil or camellia oil, then wipe with a dry cloth to restore the luster.
