    Marquetry necklace.

    This accessory is made from a 2700 year old Jindai zelkova tree excavated from the Mototaka Yumi-no-Ki ruins in Tottori City.
    In addition, the necklace was made using wood from demolished private homes and scraps from construction sites, in the hope of cherishing the wood.

    The texture of the wood was used to create a straight line motif in the yosegi.
    It is finished with 100% natural wax, a blend of beeswax and plant-derived oil.

    About care
    When the luster is gone or scratches become noticeable, apply vegetable oil such as olive oil or camellia oil, then wipe with a dry cloth to restore the luster.
