Our focus is on [pleasant mouthfeel].

The starting point is that nekojitadou's and those with delicate oral cavity should be safe and comfortable to use.

In order to give form to this ideal, we are particular about [made of bamboo], which is the root of chopsticks, and craftsmen select and finish each chopstick by using bamboo material cut from bamboo groves in Kumamoto Prefecture.

The thin and square to the tip is a shape made possible only by the use of bamboo. This shape and the unique bamboo flexing make it easy to pick up even without the non-slip coating on the tip, and also allows for a superb mouth feel.

The suppleness and smoothness of bamboo will impress your lips!

Lightweight and easy to handle as it fits your fingers, it can be used by anyone.

iisazy chopsticks are a collaboration with Yamachiku, a group of craftsmen who have been making bamboo chopsticks for over half a century.

In addition to specifications that incorporate the best of processing technology, they are carefully finished with sandpaper that is twice as fine as usual to achieve the finest smooth

    To live is to eat

Nekojitadou provides an opportunity to regain the joy of eating through cutlery developed by a group of friends who have experienced cancer. Through the community, we update the world with the new value of peer-made products (designed by friends who share the same problems and challenges) from the perspective of those who have been affected by cancer. To live life to the fullest in the everyday life that goes on forever.

    Nekkodo Founder
    Atsuo Shibata Atsuko Shibata
She has worked as a nurse for 24 years. 2014, she was diagnosed with parotid cancer (adenoid cystic carcinoma) and experienced surgery and chemoradiotherapy. Through these experiences, she realized the barrier of eating. She also learned that interaction with others in the same situation can be a source of support for living. She decided to start her own business to support the idea that "to live is to eat, and to eat is to live. I would like to update society with the values I have realized through my cancer experience.
