Messermeister is a brand that has been contributing to the cooking industry for 40 years. In order to provide the best quality at the right price, we are committed to designing new and innovative products while respecting the old ways.

While many companies use different forging processes, Messermeister is one of the few companies in the world that manufactures hot-drop, hammer-forged knives the traditional way. Messermeister's unique process and attention to detail have made them a favorite among professional chefs and home chefs alike.

Advantages of hot-drop and hammer forging include:

  • Hammering makes the internal structure of the metal denser and eliminates internal defects.
  • It improves strength and toughness (tenacity) by creating a metal flow that matches the product shape.

FOLDING CAMP UTENSIL is essential cutlery for outdoor dining. Despite its compact design, it features a full-size spoon, steak knife, and fork made of high-quality medical (surgical) stainless steel, ensuring sharpness and safety. Additionally, it includes a bottle opener, essential for camping.

FOLDING CAMP PEELER & PARER is designed for camping, combining a fruit knife, double peeler, and scale remover. The blade, made of high-quality medical (surgical) stainless steel from Germany, can be easily sharpened and offers long-lasting durability. With a blade cross-section of 8.89 cm (3.5 inches), the fruit knife ensures perfect control and safety for slicing and dicing food, suitable for both left and right-handed users.

  • Carbonized maple handle with classic blade finish: Carbonized maple, a sustainable wood stabilized by burning, prevents shrinkage and expansion. Its durability resists fungi growth and provides an elegant, enduring texture and appearance.
  • Stone-washed blade finish burlap handles: Utilizing reused yellow hemp cloth, burlap handles give a stonewashed finish to the blade using ceramic pebbles, adding a rustic appearance and exceptional attention to detail.

Authentic camping specs. ADVENTURE CHEF Enhances camp cooking for a tastier and more enjoyable experience, destined to become a reliable partner.

MONOGATARI

Our company name, "MONOGATARI" is a combination of the words "product (MONO=mono)" and "story (MONOGATARI)".

From the birth of a product (mono) to the time it is used in someone's hands, there are indeed many stories to tell.

How did the developer come up with the idea of creating a product?
What kind of people are attracted to the product, and what kind of feelings do they have about the product?
What kind of feelings can be satisfied by the product?
The more attractive the product is, the more interesting and colorful its story becomes.
Through our products (mono), we want to connect the thoughts of the creators with the thoughts of you.

We want to create a variety of new stories for each of you.
This is the reason we named our company MONOGATARI.
We want to provide you with attractive products that can be told like a story and loved beyond the ages.

Commitment to Products:
I have always loved imported goods, and I was interested in things made in cultures different from Japan, with different values and ideas.

My life changed drastically when I visited an exhibition in Germany.
I encountered the passion for craftsmanship expressed by the makers of these products. This encounter was the starting point of my decision to start my own company.

I was drawn in by the story of the maker's passion and the history of the product until it was completed. I felt that I could move people's hearts by conveying the story that resides in the object on behalf of its creator.
I want to connect people to people and the world through objects, and I want as many people as possible to know the stories hidden in objects!

I was fascinated by the natural material wristwatches made by a small workshop in Kreuzberg, so much so that I was desperate to ask for a sales contract in Japan.

This encounter is the origin of MONOGATARI.
