About 3.5 billion plastic toothbrushes are consumed worldwide every year. Because they cannot be recycled, they generate enormous amounts of waste and contribute to marine debris. mana. wanted to create a toothbrush with functionality and design while taking such environmental issues into consideration, which led us to create our first product, the bamboo toothbrush.
Bamboo is a sustainable material that has been attracting attention because of its rapid growth and its ability to absorb more CO2 than other plants. mana. is particular about the background of the materials and the production process, and has been certified by FSC, an international forest certification system based on the principles and standards of responsible forest management, supported by the consensus of stakeholders in the environmental, social and economic fields. Bamboo is utilized as a 100% sustainable material because of its fast growth (can be harvested in 3~5 years). Bamboo also absorbs 30% more CO2 than ordinary plants, and has attracted new attention in recent years.
The thick body is designed to feel light and light when you hold it, and you can hold it firmly. The brush is made of BPA-free ultra-fine nylon bristles without using pig or horse hair from the viewpoint of animal protection (vegan). After use, please remove only the brush part with pliers and dispose of it properly.
