Made of loofah and cellulose, this earth-friendly sponge is 100% plant-derived and can be returned to the soil. It has high absorbency and can remove dirt even with a small amount of detergent. 100% plant fiber for earth-friendly cleaning.

Loofah has long been popular in Okinawa Prefecture as a food source, and has also been dried and used as a sponge. The raw material for cellulose is made from natural fibers such as wood pulp and cotton added as reinforcing fiber. mana.'s kitchen sponges are made from 100% natural materials, do not emit toxic gases when incinerated, and naturally decompose and return to the soil when buried.

It is also recommended for camping, picnics, and other outdoor activities.

Most commonly sold kitchen sponges are made of plastics such as polyester and nylon, and if the fibers are inadvertently washed away from the sink, they can end up in oceans and rivers, causing microplastics. It is estimated that 8 million tons of marine debris is generated annually. Plastic debris that is washed into the ocean is broken down into smaller pieces by salt and ultraviolet light, eventually becoming microchips that remain in the ocean. Marine organisms may eat them or injure themselves. Plastic produces CO2 at all stages of production, transportation, and incineration, and is made by exploiting petroleum, a fossil resource that will eventually be depleted. We can make sustainable consumption choices by choosing products that use as little plastic as possible and do not produce plastic waste.

All mana. product packaging is made from materials that can be reused, recycled, or composted (naturally decomposing).
We use kraft paper for packaging. No environmentally harmful plastics are used from production to disposal. After use, please recycle the packages as recyclable waste in accordance with local waste separation methods.
