Originally, roof tiles have a water absorption rate of 10%.
We dared not to burn the top part of the tile to increase its water absorbency, so even if a drop of water gets on it, it will be absorbed immediately.
The square coaster is decorated with the Ehime character "Mikyan.

Today, the brand name "Kikusada" represents the craftsmanship accumulated by Koizumi Seigawara over the past ten generations.
