Koizumi Seigawara

The name "Kikusada" was initially adopted as a trade name by Sadakichi Koizumi, the fifth generation of Koizumi Seigawara, a tile manufacturer with a heritage spanning ten generations. Today, the brand name "Kikusada" represents the craftsmanship accumulated by Koizumi Seigawara over the past ten generations.

The "Shiki" series coasters are crafted using our tile-making technology, with the tiles exhibiting water-absorbing properties to soak up water droplets.
The Gazen series of tableware also leverages the same tile-making technology, but in this case, the water absorbency is minimized by baking the tableware at an extremely high temperature, forming an oxidized film.
