This circular dish is made by applying a roof tile manufacturing process.
It is baked at an extreme temperature (1,120°C), which is higher than the manufacturing process of conventional roof tiles, to form a smoked film, and has less water absorbency, making it more practical.

Today, the brand name "Kikusada" represents the craftsmanship accumulated by Koizumi Seigawara over the past ten generations.
