Kinsai craft is a technique established in the Momoyama and Edo periods for applying gold leaf to cloth such as obi belts and kimonos.

This wallet is made of cotton pongee-like green material with black foil and cotton foil.
The expression of the foil differs from piece to piece.

*Yaki foil is made from silver that discolors due to sulfurization, and is discolored by applying heat to paper or cloth containing sulfur with an iron.
This foil discolors over time.

This product can be enjoyed for its age-related changes such as foil peeling and discoloration.
