[blue ruled letterhead x bluish gray envelope x crisp foil sticker letter set].

The most distinctive feature of Grid #1 is the irregular outline that seems to have been naturally formed by erasing a sheet of graph paper. The easy-to-use grid paper was reinterpreted and designed in Nandaka's own way so that it can be used as a letter, the smallest unit of a gift.

The letterheads are designed to look like the Milky Way, clouds, waves, or various other shapes depending on the viewer. The paper was created by pursuing a balance of margins and ruled widths so that the subtractive decorations on the paper would subtly accentuate the handwritten letters and drawings.

The margins in the middle, which are the folds when inserting the envelope, make it easy to change the topic of conversation between the top and bottom sections, or to stop writing at the margins and rest your hand for a moment as if you were catching your breath.

The paper is made of "Marshmallow CoC," which is compatible with all writing instruments and has a reputation for smooth writing. The bright blue ruled lines (3.6 mm square) are printed with specially formulated ink.

The light gray color of the envelopes is a bluish gray to match the blue of the ruled lines. The three foil-stamped stickers are a playful design using squares.

The letterhead, envelopes, and stickers are all subtly linked in the design, and the result is a balance that is neither too simple nor too ornate, and that can accept words of any temperature.

You can choose from four sizes so that you can write a letter according to the amount of text you wish to write. Please see the product list for other sizes (S, M, XL).

Nandaka

We are a two-person letter stationery brand. We believe that writing a letter is a way to make oneself present through one's handwriting. Based on this concept, we design products while exploring what letter stationery should be.

Commitment to our products
About size
Our cards, letterheads, and envelopes do not follow the existing size standards such as [A5] and [Western 2], but have our own size standards [S, M, L, XL, W, SQ]. This is based on the idea of providing sizes that naturally fit both those who want to write a lot and those who only need to write a little.

About the production
Nandaka's predecessor was a graphic design office (packaging, branding, etc.), so we plan each product by working backwards from what we want letter stationery to be like in today's world. Inevitably, each product has different points to focus on, and in most cases, we do not follow precedent in the selection of paper and printing methods, but rather rethink them from scratch. For this reason, we try to make as much as possible by hand in our own studio, where we have equipment such as foil stamping machines and printing presses that can handle a wide range of tasks, and when we seek the cooperation of outside printing and processing companies, we actually visit them and discuss with sales representatives and craftspeople to make adjustments. We are committed to a flexible production system that allows us to reflect the core ideas of the product in every detail in the finished product.
