In consideration of recent housing conditions, we have created a three-piece Dragon Boat Festival set that can be displayed in a small space and compactly stored in a wooden box that also serves as a decorative stand when the season is over.

This is a one-of-a-kind special May doll made of European beach with bright wood grain, cut out with a thread saw, colored with acrylic paints, and pasted with gorgeous Japanese paper.

The lively expression of the Koinobori carp streamers, the chic black and gold Kabuto decorations, and the energetic Kintaro stomping on the ground and raising his Masakari (Japanese warrior sword) are all original designs by Yumu Wooden Crafts.
Each and every one of them is carefully handmade by craftsmen.

The pole of the carp streamer is made of teak, a high-grade furniture material.
The arrow wheel attached to the end of the pole is made to rotate.

The front of the wooden box, which serves as a decorative stand, is decorated with an openwork pattern in the motif of hemp leaves.
Since hemp leaves grow quickly and straight, the hemp leaf pattern has been used since ancient times as a symbol of hope for the healthy growth of children, and is often used on baby clothes.
The wooden box is made of solid Japanese cypress from Kochi Prefecture, which gives it a pleasant aroma and protects the stored Osekku decorations from mold and moisture.

The unique design is a fusion of the blessings from nature, solid wood, and the traditional Japanese culture of washi paper, chiyogami.
The careful craftsmanship of the finish is evident when you hold it in your hand.
How about this special May doll for the Boys' Boys' Festival to wish for the healthy growth of your precious boy?
