Fusion of English Harness Leather and Italian Leather

This long wallet is tailored in the most prestigious and elegant form of wallets. The body is made of bridle leather, a traditional English harness leather, and the interior is made of Italian vegetable-tanned oiled nubuck. The functionality of the wallet, which can hold banknotes, coins, and cards, the weight, and outstanding durability of bridle leather, and the smooth feel of oiled nubuck leather are beautifully combined to create a product that is both elegant and practical at a high level.

[Main Body Leather] The main body is made of "bridle leather" (color: Evergreen), which has long been manufactured as harness leather at "Thomas Ware & Sons," a long-established tannery in Bristol, England, boasting a history of over 170 years. The leather is tanned in a pit-tank, and the strong leather with fine fibers is soaked with waxes such as beeswax and vegetable oil by hand for more than 10 weeks to make the leather robust and water-repellent. The white powder on the surface of the leather is called "bloom," which is a symbol of bridle leather. The degree of blooming varies from product to product.

[Interior Leather] The interior is luxuriously made of oiled nubuck leather "Texas" (color: natural) produced by the bucketta method at the long-established company "Tempesti" in the Santa Croce district of Italy, the birthplace of vegetable tanneries. Unlike suede, which has a brushed floor surface, nubuck is processed on the leather's bard (front side), making it durable and smooth to the touch. "Texas" contains a lot of oil, and the more you use it, the more you can enjoy its excellent aging process, which increases its luster and color.

[Card Pocket] Six card pockets are located on the back of the flap, allowing you to see your cards at a glance.

[Billfold] The gusseted bill compartment makes it easy to check the contents and smoothly insert and remove bills.

[Change Pocket]
The zipper coin purse located in front of the bill compartment is wide, and coins can be easily taken out. The zipper is made in Japan by YKK, and a leather handle is luxuriously attached to the slider for easy holding.

[Free Pocket]
Two free pockets are located in front of the coin purse and behind the card pocket. Receipts and tickets can be stored.

[Beautiful Koba with a Polished Finish]
"Kirime Honigaki" is the most traditional and valuable method of finishing Koba. The surface of the Kova is scraped flat and repeatedly soaked with dye, glue, and wax, and then polished to give the appearance and feel of a single piece of leather from multiple pieces of leather. This process takes a long time and requires technical skills and knowledge of the leather's characteristics, so it can be said to be proof of hand-finishing by craftsmen that is not mass-produced.
