The main raw materials of PAPLUS® products are PLA (polylactic acid), which is mainly composed of lactic acid obtained by fermentation of corn starch, and paper.
By using earth-friendly materials, PAPLUS® products have the unique texture of natural materials like ceramics and wood products, and we value the individuality of the colors and shades so that our products can be used with love and care.

    Design with Attention to Detail
PAPLUS® stacking tumblers are designed to be simple in order to make the most of the unique texture of the material. We also focused on the stable weight balance created by adding thickness toward the bottom.

    Packaging
The package is made of 100% recycled paper [chipboard], which is made from used newspapers and magazines.

    ■Warm drinks are also OK
While many products with high purity plant-derived ingredients do not have heat resistance, PAPLUS® stacking tumblers have a heat resistance temperature of 120°C, so you can use them for warm drinks with peace of mind.

A material that harmonizes with the earth
Approximately 86% of PAPLUS® Stacking Tumblers are made of corn-derived resin and paper, which are plant-derived components.
To these main components, natural viscosity minerals (approx. 7%) and petroleum-derived additives (approx. 7%) are added to ensure the heat-resistant function. *1
The majority of the material is decomposed into water and carbon dioxide by the action of microorganisms. *2
*1 Please be assured that the additives used at a minimum comply with the Food Sanitation Law stipulated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
There are many eco-friendly products that do not mention additives.
    Please be aware of this.
*2 The time and degree of decomposition will vary greatly depending on the environment, so 100% decomposition is not guaranteed.

    Recycle instead of throw away
PAPLUS® products are incinerated if they are thrown away as garbage. However, we ask for your cooperation in collecting them as a resource and reprocessing them instead of incinerating them as garbage. Let's create a new cycle together.
Note: Recycling is only available for domestic operations in Japan.

    PAPLUS

PAPLUS® is an environmentally friendly brand based on the concept of [creating a future of circulation]. Our goal is to provide high-quality, beautiful products while minimizing the burden on the global environment. By considering the entire product lifecycle, from manufacturing to disposal and reuse, PAPLUS® is a brand that embodies a symbiotic relationship with nature, and is committed to realizing a sustainable future.

    Commitment to Products
PAPLUS® uses biodegradable materials made from plant-derived and natural ingredients, eliminating petroleum-derived ingredients as much as possible. This is due to our strong sense of crisis over the growing problem of plastic waste on a global scale. From the very beginning of the company's foundation, we have been asking ourselves what materials are environmentally friendly and what materials can enrich people's daily lives, and through many years of research and trial and error, PAPLUS® was born.

The brand story is based on the philosophy of "born from nature, returned to nature. We have created a system that allows products to be recycled and reborn as new PAPLUS® products after use, while maintaining their durability and beauty. We hope that the story of "circulation" engraved on each of our products will serve as a bridge between consumers and nature.

Furthermore, PAPLUS® makes the process from product collection to recycling transparent. By letting customers know which products are being recycled and how they are being recycled, we aim to deepen the trust between brands and help build a sustainable society together. By sharing this story, we provide a brand experience that makes each of us feel like an important part of shaping a sustainable future.
