Wood from demolished old houses and scraps from construction sites are disposed of as industrial waste.
I wanted to reduce the amount of wood that had grown over many years being thrown away, and I wanted to preserve it in a different form.
That is when I came across marquetry.

As I picked up various things related to the string called "mizuhiki," which is made of twisted Japanese paper, I realized that the dots I had vaguely held until then had become lines and that it was filled with important invisible things.
