Why is Mucha so beautiful? First of all, there is the beauty of the picture plane, with its gracefully posed women and floral decorations, supple curves of hair, and the dignity of the colors. (omitted).
Before his success with posters, Mucha had already further developed his outstanding drawing skills and dramatic expression during his years as an illustrator. This experience is reflected in his posters. (omitted)
Mucha did not simply depict beautiful Art Nouveau women, but also expressed the history of his native Czech Republic and the future and hopes of the Slavic people in the form of women.
In fact, many of the works from the Paris period that are considered "the flower of Art Nouveau" have Mucha's message written on them, and the circles and hearts that are characteristic of Mucha's style are not only decorative, but also speak of hope.
