This 6" (approx. 18 cm) diameter confectionary bowl is made of Japanese cork material and finished on the potter's wheel.
The characteristic feature is the planer stripes, commonly known as rokuro-suji, on the outside of the bowl, and the finish is Negoro nuri, which takes advantage of the grain of the wood.
The finish beautifully expresses the texture of the natural wood.
It is a confectionary bowl with a design that will never grow old.
This is a rare item that is only available while supplies last. Please use it not only for tea ceremonies but also for everyday use.
*The inside is a plain brown color.
