What is Furoshiki?
Furoshiki is primarily used for wrapping and carrying items, but its utility extends beyond these traditional uses. This versatile fabric is known for its adaptability.
A furoshiki measuring 100cm x 100cm serves as a highly convenient eco-bag, basket bag, or can be shaped to fit various items.
It doubles as a practical tablecloth or an attractive interior decoration piece.
Crafted from a blend of cotton and linen materials. The fabric combines the softness of cotton with the moderate firmness and crispness of linen, creating a unique half-linen furoshiki. Its versatility extends to being used as a scarf or shoulder strap.
Traditional Japanese indigo dyeing technique is expressed through inkjet printing. This technique blends the beautiful colors of print with the cool impression of indigo dye, lending a unique appeal to the product.
It folds easily into a compact size, ideal for shopping in your neighborhood. Plus, it's easily washable, ensuring hygienic usage.
*Note:
Depending on the color, some fluffiness or neps (knots of threads formed by intertwined fibers) may be noticeable, adding a rustic charm to the half-linen fabric.
Meticulously crafted in Kyoto The product carries a [Kyo PrintⓇ] tag, signifying its dyeing and processing in Kyoto, ensuring its authenticity as a "Made in KYOTO" product.
Eco-friendly production Inkjet dyeing is employed, reducing water consumption by over 90% during the dyeing process.
