By tucking in the elastic waistband of these easy pants, we have combined both ease of wear and a sense of neatness. The lightly tapered silhouette towards the hem allows you to wear it with any shoes you choose, and you can make the most of the texture of the kimono fabric, which has a three-dimensional feel.
The outer layer is made of 100% silk kimono fabric, the inner lining is wrinkle-resistant, and silk sewing threads are used.
We procured this beautiful and moderately shiny fabric in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture, in the deep pink color of Tsubomi Koubai (bud plum color) for the autumn season.

Story
Meisen is a traditional silk fabric from Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture.
Meisen is a type of kimono loved by the general public from the Taisho to the early Showa period (1926-1989). The production process of meisen involves 14 processes and cannot be achieved without the careful skills of each and every craftsman. Currently, production has been halted due to the aging of the workforce and the decline of techniques. However, the meisen, which has been loved by the local community, is about to be handed down to the next generation in a different form. Meisen is made of silk, which is difficult to handle when made into clothing, and there have been many struggles.
