    The engraving "Yoshiura" holds historical significance. In 1577, the first porcelain material in Japan was discovered near the kiln. Decades later, Naoshige Nabeshima, feudal lord of Hizen Saga Domain, initiated Japan's inaugural porcelain production in the Yoshida area. LaKaren's pottery, carrying the "Yoshiura" name, honors the Yoshiura Shrine and perpetuates the tradition of handcrafting ceramics in the traditional manner.
