Thread for kogin stitch made of 100% organic cotton.

Large capacity for plenty of use!
It is a natural color, so you can dye it by hand in your favorite color and stitch it.
You don't have to worry about running out of thread when you try your hand at making a large piece.

Organic cotton is cotton grown in fields where no pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used for more than three years.
In normal cotton cultivation, large amounts of chemical fertilizers and pesticides are used. These chemicals remain in the soil, contaminating the groundwater and causing microorganisms to disappear, which not only reduces the strength of the soil, but also affects the health of the farmers who cultivate it. In addition, the reduced soil fertility causes an imbalance, creating a vicious cycle that requires the use of even more chemical fertilizers and pesticides, resulting in a situation in which income does not increase even though harvest volume increases.
Organic cotton is a solution to these problems. Even if the farm is managed and cultivated according to organic certification standards, and even if the farm is internationally certified, it is checked every year by specialized inspectors.

With organic cotton that has been strictly controlled and checked in this way, we have created yarn twisted to a thickness for kogin stitch.
It is soft to the touch, light and comfortable to sew with, and does not fluff easily and does not generate dust, so it is gentle to both the stitcher and the user.

This product is purchased from a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified company.

The product is sold wrapped in a backing paper to prevent tangling and to make it ready to use as soon as it arrives at the customer's door.
FSC certified paper is used for the backing paper.
