"Tayi" - Protecting Through Tied Threads.

By securing it on the wrist, where veins an essential part of the human body pass through, this bracelet offers protection and guidance, shielding individuals from bad luck. Since ancient times, people globally have used wish threads to safeguard their loved ones. We've reintroduced these tender practices into the 21st century, cherishing their significance.

Inspired by the nadachadi, a sacred cord wrapped around wrists by monks in Indian temples, believed to fulfill prayers when it snaps.

This bracelet showcases lapis lazuli, the oldest gemstone discovered by mankind.

Imagine the desert's night sky, ablaze with bright blue hues and shooting stars. It resembles the sky during a desert journey, a lover from a city seeking an oasis. It's a pious feeling, a yearning for someone with a noble heart, glowing warmly in one's chest, praying for a safe journey.

Lapis Lazuli is running low in stock.

The color and size of natural stones vary among pieces, with unique inclusions and the way light interacts with each stone. Photos aim to authentically represent the stones.

    NIL SANDA jewelry

Your body is the temple that protects your soul, a jewel itself. Acknowledge your strong and weak self as proof that you love yourself more than anyone else. To be worn as a testament to that self-love.

NIL SANDA is like your heart that waxes and wanes with the moon. It's a healing jewelry brand designed for those who embrace their heart's natural rhythms, much like the moon's waxing and waning.

    Commitment to Our Products:
NIL SANDA means "blue moon" in Sinhalese. A "blue moon" can also refer to a moon with a bluish tinge. The second full moon of the month is called a "blue moon," occurring once every two to three years, signifying rarity or good omens.

The correlation between the moon and a woman's mental and physical balance is well-known. The full moon is uplifting and often linked to increased childbirth, as observed by obstetricians. The connection between celestial bodies and human beings is ancient, dating back to our origins in the sea, influenced by the moon's gravitational pull.

At NIL SANDA, we've chosen the name "Blue Moon" to symbolize constancy and support, aiming to help women achieve emotional stability. The incorporation of the blue of Sri Lanka, abundant in blue sapphires, represents the beautiful colors of the sea and sky.
