    This is a floral-patterned tenugui. ○

    It features a subdued shade of red. You can, of course, carry it in your bag and use it as a handkerchief, but I also think it would look great draped around your neck like a scarf.

    It’s carefully crafted by artisans using a technique called “tenatsuzome,” where the pattern is clearly visible even on the reverse side.
    It’s made from a fabric called “Sōri (Bun),” which has a substantial thickness and the classic, authentic texture of a tenugui.

    Since the edges are raw-cut, they may fray slightly at first, but this will naturally settle over time.
    Because this is a special dyeing process, the color may fade slightly due to washing or friction.
    We recommend hand-washing whenever possible; if using a washing machine, please use a laundry net.

    We’ve taken photos that accurately represent the actual colors as much as possible, but there may be slight variations.
    Although the fabric is dyed on both sides, the base fabric is a dark color, so there may occasionally be faintly colored areas.
