NARADOLL HIGASHIDA is entirely handmade. The technique used is called "Nara Itto-bori carving", named after the spirit that is put into every sword.

The carving involves creating bold surfaces on wood from large trees, followed by the application of delicate coloring using Japanese paints and gold leaf.

The distinctive feature of this carving lies in the use of Japanese paints and gold leaf for intricate coloring.
