STYLE OF JAPAN is a "sustainable lacquered chopstick craft where people and nature coexist and prosper together.
Commitment to Our Products Our products are Pure Japan Made chopsticks produced in the forests of Fukui Prefecture. We use internationally certified PEFC-certified wood (thinned wood) produced in Fukui Prefecture as the material for our chopsticks, and all manufacturing processes are completed in the Wakasa lacquerware production area, which has a 400-year history and tradition.
Our aim is to connect the beautiful nature with human life and to balance the global environment with the future of manufacturing. We are also trying to elevate the chopsticks, a symbol of Japanese culture, to the status of "Hashi", a globally accepted cutlery like MANGA. Using the history and technology of a 400-year old traditional crafting center, we have added modern methods of expression and a new manufacturing system, and have also taken on the aspect of social design to solve the problem of global climate change through the familiar chopsticks.
