    The surface of the stacking tumblers, which feature the same minimalist design as the PAPLUS® tumblers, is coated in matte black.
    The stackable design allows for efficient use of space in the kitchen. The weight is balanced with a sense of stability by adding thickness toward the bottom!
    The capacity is equivalent to a standard cafe short size.

    The main raw materials of PAPLUS® products are PLA (polylactic acid), which is mainly composed of lactic acid obtained by fermenting corn starch, and paper. By using earth-friendly materials, PAPLUS® products have the unique texture of natural materials like ceramics and wood products, and we value the individuality of the colors and shades so that they can be used with love and care.
    The uneven coloring and fading that occurs over time as the product is used will become a part of the user's personality, and we hope that you will enjoy the process of developing an attachment to the product.

    Design
    PAPLUS® Stacking Tumbler Black has a simple design that makes the most of the unique texture of the material. We also focused on the stable weight balance created by adding thickness toward the bottom.

    Black color with a special attention to detail
    Black is a good color for PAPLUS®, which has a minimalist design policy. The inside is left as it is so as not to erase all the original texture of PAPLUS®, and only the outside is coated with urethane to create a two-tone color.

    About the urethane coating
    The coating used this time is a urethane coating, in which black pigment is dissolved in urethane resin, and is an artificial coating that is considered harmless to the human body and conforms to the Food Sanitation Law. PAPLUS®, which has a high ratio of naturally occurring ingredients, is a little delicate to water, just like wood products, but the urethane coating increases its water resistance and reduces the speed of aging.
    In fact, the main raw material of PAPLUS®, corn-derived biodegradable resin (polylactic acid), has a property of repelling paint. We were able to solve this problem by using the undercoating technology of a partner factory that has expertise in lacquer coating, a Japanese manufacturing technique.
    *The painted parts of the recovered color variations can be peeled off with a grinder or other tool, and since the inside is not painted, only the pure PAPLUS® material can be efficiently sent to the reprocessing process.

    ■Care for Packaging
    Chipboard, a 100% recycled paper made from used newspapers and magazines, is used for the packaging, which matches the texture of PAPLUS®, a natural material.

    ■Warm drinks are also OK.
    While many products with high purity plant-derived ingredients do not have a heat resistance function, the PAPLUS® Stacking Tumbler Black has a heat resistance temperature of 120°C, so you can use it for warm drinks with peace of mind.

    A material that harmonizes with the earth
    About 86% of PAPLUS® Stacking Tumbler Black is made of corn-derived resin and paper, which are plant-derived components. To these main components, viscosity minerals (approx. 7%) and petroleum-derived additives (approx. 7%) are added to ensure heat-resistant functions. *1 In addition, most of the material is decomposed into water and carbon dioxide by the action of microorganisms. *2
    *1 Please be assured that the additives used at a minimum comply with the Food Sanitation Law stipulated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
    There are many eco-friendly products that do not mention additives.
    Please be aware of this.
    *2 The time and degree of decomposition will vary greatly depending on the environment, so 100% decomposition is not guaranteed.

    Recycle instead of throw away
    PAPLUS® products are incinerated if they are thrown away as garbage. However, we ask for your cooperation in collecting them as a resource and reprocessing them instead of incinerating them as garbage. Let's create a new cycle together.

    PAPLUS® Stacking Tumbler Black comes with a traceability card. The card includes a lot number and QR code, which allows the user to check the production date, type, and quantity of products collected and remanufactured on the site.
