Couldn't load pickup availability
It is dyed by a traditional stencil dyeing method called chusen, and has no front and back. This is a series of patterns drawn by Eri Shimatsuka, a textile designer active mainly in Scandinavia, on the theme of "folk crafts of Miyako Island".
The name of the pattern [KASURI ICHIMATSU] is derived from the Miyako Kamifu kasuri pattern, which has a meaning and name deeply rooted in the life of Miyako Island, and motifs such as birds, nails, windmills, and dog footprints are selected and laid out in a checkerboard pattern.
Two colors are available: [MARL] (monochromatic dyeing), named after the kucha (marl) at the bottom of the Okinawan sea, and [CITRUS] (gradation dyeing), which evokes citrus fruits.
