The glaze used for the Ion Bottle is made of clay (glaze) containing "radium ore" extracted from Shigaraki clay. The negative ion effect produced by this natural ore gives the bottle a soft and mellow mouthfeel as if it has been stored for years. In addition, when water is added, the chalky odor is removed and the stirring action of the alpha rays causes the water molecules to move constantly, creating a condition similar to that of a murmuring river inside the bottle, which makes the water taste mellow.
