The third volume, [Kisotenkai], focuses on the fantastic world of Japanese and Chinese folklore and legends, famous scenes from plays, religious paintings, ghosts, and yokai.
[It is divided into four categories: "Kyôgei Hyakude," "Narrative Picks," "Hyakki Zukai," and "Shinbutsu Fuu Shikishi.
Starting with anecdotes, fairy tales, and paintings from the classics, the collection also includes images of gods, Buddha, saints, and priests, as well as tengu and kappa (water-dwelling creatures).
